What is a 'Kamishiba'?
Kamishibas are a closed species created by Lopdiemis; they are draconic creatures that manifest from wishes and desires, intended to be messengers that may help fulfill the wish that created them. Most kamishiba are unaware of such a purpose, however, and lead lives of their own. The species largely resides in a place called ‘Aurora Land’. What they mean to me
I got involved with this species and community sometime in 2015, and it’s continued to hold a special place in my heart since then! I adore the collaborative storytelling that so often happens between community members, and the fun and whimsy the original artist and creator continues to add to this magical world.
