Tux or Theo ✦ they/it ✦ 20's ✦ shapeshifter (ΘΔ) ✦ asexual ♠
"Hi there! I’m the strange, shapeshifting cryptid who runs this page, nice to meet you!"
"If you’re here, that probably means you wanted to know a little more about me, yeah? Lucky for you, I have a lot to talk about! :3"
What Am I?
I’m a lot of things! It comes with the territory of being a shapeshifter! X3
At my core, I’m something that’s definitely not entirely human - I prefer descriptors such as ‘critter’, ‘creature’, and ‘animal’ to being referred to as a ‘person’, and my attachment to humanity is as fleeting as any other form I might take to explore or amuse myself. My gender is loosely described as ‘nonbinary’, though a more accurate term might be xenogender or creaturegender!
I also identify myself as furry, therian, neurodivergent, and queer! I’m all-around weird, and I think that’s pretty rad! uwu
What Do I Do?
I’m an artist and storyteller, and I love to dabble in things that let me create and bring to life whatever ideas are currently bouncing around in my head! I’ve also got a degree in biology and ecology, though I haven’t had the chance to use that professionally yet - for now, I suppose you could call me an amateur or aspiring ecologist.
My main creative project at present is my sci-fi mystery webcomic Meet Me in the Woods - if a queer story about hunting down cryptids and downed UFOs in the woods sounds like your cup of tea, give it a look!
You’ll also find that I’ve often got my paws full with a number of other projects and hobbies - I like worldbuilding, TTRPGs, building websites, fiddling with a number of crafts such as crochet, cross-stitch, and sewing, and I’ve got numerous other things I’m interested in that I haven’t even had the chance to try yet!
My Interests!
I've got a plethora of topics and things that interest me, and I thought it'd be fun to just have a list of those here for folks to see! Interests marked with a star are special interests of mine~

Therianthropy / Alterhumanity
Some part of me, I think, has always known that I wasn't entirely human, even when I didn't have all the words or knowledge to describe my experiences. There's a memory that's still vivid in my mind to this day, of me sitting on the swing in the backyard, looking up at the sky, and wishing very earnestly for the ability to shapeshift into an animal. I was probably 8 or 9 years old at the time.
The word "therian" didn't enter my lexicon until I was 16, and was introduced to me via Tumblr! I'd also learn not too long after that that a close friend of mine already identified as therian, and I also have her to thank for much of my introduction to the experience alongside getting me interested in the furry community.
I am one part shapeshifting creature, and another part domestic cat! I've cycled through a handful of various forms over the years, but these two have always had a strong presence. There are a handful of other critters that I strongly identify with, but I consider them more "favorite forms" of the shapeshifting side of me than an integrated part of my self-identity.
I do not see myself as being very human at all. At best, I am a nonhuman creature that was socialized like a human, and I often liken "being human" to another aspect of my shapeshifting nature - a shape I sometimes adopt for fun or function! I prefer the terms nonhuman, alterhuman, therian, animal, creature, critter, etc to describe myself. This aspect of my identity is also why I use "it/its" pronouns alongside "they/them".
Plurality (or "Daemonism")
Technically speaking, there's multiple critters inside my head! I tend to describe them as "daemons" as opposed to alters - the concept originally comes from Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials series, where a daemon is the physical manifestation of a person's soul in animal form. This animal form usually represents something about their human counterpart. If you're curious about how folks practice this in real life, there's quite a bit of info found on the Daemon Page and Forums!
The daemons don't "front", generally preferring to stay in the background. They've occasionally chosen to participate in text chats, but it's more of a "I'm transcribing their thoughts on their behalf" kind of a situation. Unless explicitly stated, you're pretty much always gonna be talking and interacting with myself!
I'll allow the critters to introduce themselves to you below!
Baszileatrix "Baszil"
She/Her - White Nebelung Cat
Hello! You may call me Baszil, for brevity's sake. I am the oldest of the three daemons present, and have been around since 2019.
I enjoy reading, writing, and academic pursuits, and also act as Theo's familiar in their spiritual practices. I occasionally enjoy direct discussion with others, if I find my presence relevant to the topic and setting.
Panache "Pan"
He/They - Sea Otter or Pine Marten...usually
What's up?! I'm Pan! I'm the loudest one here, if you couldn't tell! X3
I like to change up my form a lot, but sea otter is the comfiest! Sometimes I'm also a black cat, an Umbreon, or whatever else I think would be cool~ I also have a fursona, they're a sea otter but a space sea otter!
I like jamming out to loud music and playing video games, and sometimes I draw, too! I love looking at furry art a lot, and I think scenecore is cool! >w<
I don't talk a lot to others, but sometimes I do! It depends on my mood! Ok baiiiiii
Tucker
He/Him - Plush Tuxedo Cat
Hi, I'm Tucker! I'm the youngest of the three, and I appeared alongside a plushie Theo got in 2021. I'm a trans boy!
I don't talk a lot, I just like to observe! I like plushies and cozy things, and I take lots of naps. My main role here is to be comforting, and I think I'm really good at that ^w^
